If being photographed along side Jane Birkin and having a poster of yourself in the window of a trendy Chelsea photographer’s gallery counts, London born Cozette has been in the fashion industry since she was 18 months old.
Fast forward a few years and after a failed attempt to pass the right A’ levels to become a vet, she becomes box-boy to DJ Fat Tony and is thrown in to a vibrant London club scene meeting Jasper Conran on the dance-floor of The Café De Paris. Realizing that his job offer was not the joke she thought it was Cozette works for him for over 4 years.
A 2-year stint as a shepherd is followed by over 10 years as Bella Freud’s right hand. Throw in holiday time spent as part of John Galliano’s sales team at the very start of his re-launched career in Paris and you have a hardworking, fashion obsessive with a contacts book to die for.
When Bella Freud took time out post Jaeger to raise her family, Cozette became PA to Modus’ Julian Vogel and worked exclusively with him on his personal fashion projects. Head of Press at Solange Azagury-Partridge followed and then, 5 seasons ago she became one third of men’s knitwear collective, SIBLING.
Always active, alongside designing for and PR-ing SIBLING Cozette McCreery DJs, co-runs A Fashionable Pub Quiz, has worked at shows in both London and Paris for all the key, respected fashion PRs, is the ‘face’ of Richard Mortimer’s Boombox and Ponystep nights, worked with Bella Freud, Jemima Khan and Karma Nabulsi on their successful 2010 Hoping charity fundraiser at which she also DJed and was front of house for the Top Shop Show Space 2010 as part of the Blonstein & Associates team.
